I play (or have played) every instrument I write for, to varying degrees. For me, writing music is an extension of playing, which is why I am so careful about playability, and your playing enjoyment.
If you want to check out my arrangements for ensembles which don’t include piano or harp, please visit blevinsmusic.com. You will find music for clarinet, flute, Native American-style flute, tin whistle, recorder, violin, viola, cello, finger-style ukulele, baritone ukulele, mandolin and trombone, in dozens of solo and ensemble combinations.
If you’re interested in my harp music, you can check it out here: cindyblevinsharpmusic.com.
I hold degrees in music education and clarinet performance from Heidelberg College (now Heidelberg University.)
